Owls Take Top Four Spots in 1500 Meter at TSU Relays

HOUSTON – The Rice women's track and field team had a dominant showing in the team's only event at the TSU Relays at Texas Southern University.
Caitlin Wosika won the 1500-meter run, with Amelie Attenborough, Lina Spjut and Ava White following shortly behind as the Owls swept the top four spots for the event.
As a team, Rice had seven athletes place in the top 10 for the event.

"Caitlin led from wire-to-wire and ran a fast last 400 in the wind to win. She is becoming a great runner. Amelie, Lina and Ava followed with very good efforts, also in the wind. Next week we get started with our full team at the Victor Lopez Classic at Rice University!"
