Faces sixth seed on Saturday morning
Fort Worth- Trinity Grear bounced back from a loss in an opening set tiebreaker to win in three sets and advance to the main draw round of 32 at the ITA Men's Texas Regional at the Friedman Tennis Center on Friday.
Details: Grear dropped the tiebreaker 7-4, but lost only five games in the next two sets to advance. He will take on Texas' Jonah Braswell, who is seeded sixth, on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Arthus de la Basseriere, Kabeer Kapasi and Emir Sendogan fell to seeded players in the opening round. The Owls dropped three opening-round doubles matches, while the fourth team was forced to withdraw due to Petro Kuzmenok's illness.
