JUSTIN EMIL QUOTABLE
"Today was a long day. The round took 6.5 hours so there was a lot of waiting to hit, which caused a difficulty finding a rhythm out there. We had a tough time on the greens and just didn't have our best stuff. That's a big opportunity for us to learn and grow as a team. Tomorrow we are going to do a better job on our putting speed and also be more patient with the slow pace of play."
NEXT UP
The second round begins tomorrow at 8 a.m. Rice will tee off beginning at 9:50 a.m. with student-athletes from Central Arkansas, Lamar, and Missouri State.
