Golf Opens Spring Slate at Border Olympics

HOUSTON — After a three-month break, the Rice Golf team opens its 2022 spring schedule at the prestigious Border Olympics. The tournament will be played at the par-72, 7,375-yard Laredo Country Club in Laredo, Texas.

TEAM FIELD
Leading the 15-team field are four teams in the latest Golfstat Top 50 in No. 17 Texas, No. 20 Illinois, No. 23 LSU, and No. 50 Baylor. Joining Rice in the field are Abilene Christian, Bowling Green, Houston, Houston Baptist, Lamar, Louisiana-Monroe, Michigan, New Mexico State, Sam Houston, and UTSA.
