In Brief: Campbell Salmon ground out a three-set win over Francisco Vittar of Texas Tech to wrap up play for Rice at the Lakes Invite in Frisco on Sunday. The Owls joined with players from Oklahoma, SMU and Texas Tech for three days of singles and doubles action at the Lakes Tennis Club.
Efe Ustundag: "We knew going in that this would be a challenging way to start the season, since we faced some very tough competition against three quality programs. It was good to get on the court and compete and I am pleased how our guys did. There is a lot we can take away from this weekend and build on in the weeks ahead."
