Caleigh Page Named to College Soccer News National Team of the Week

HOUSTON — Rice Soccer defender Caleigh Page was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
Page helped the Owls to a pair of victories. She opened the week by scoring the game-winning goal in the 75th minute of a 2-1 victory at Houston Baptist. The following match against Northwestern State, she assisted on Caleigh Boeckx's opening goal as the Owls defeated NSU, 2-1, in overtime. Her defensive play helped keep the teams off the scoreboard in the waning moments of both games.
The 13th-ranked Owls return to the pitch this Thursday, Sept. 2, when it hosts Texas State. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be streamed by CUSAtv.
