In Brief: Trinity Grear and AJ Valenty swept to the Flight 1 Doubles title while Grear and Campbell Salmon posted winning weekends for the Owls at the Ron Wesbrooks Invitational. The annual event hosted by Lamar was moved to Dallas due to heavy rains over the first two days of action.
Efe Ustundag: "First off, I want to give special thanks to the coaches who were able to move the event on short notice to allow us to get the matches in. It was a good weekend for the guys and I was glad to see them have some success, thanks to the efforts of everyone who made the weekend happen. We can take these results into our training the next two weeks and I am looking forward to getting the full squad on the courts together for regionals in two weeks."
