Rice Voting Locations
Historic Rice Stadium has hosted everything from a Super Bowl to rock concerts to a major presidential speech since opening in 1950. Now the stadium will serve another distinctive purpose as a polling place for the 2020 elections.
Voting booths will be set up inside Gate One at the southwest corner of the stadium, not only for Election Day but also for early voting.
"I'm excited that Rice University will be a voting center during early voting and on Election Day," said Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins. "I encourage all voters to make a plan to vote and participate in the upcoming election."
Early voting at the stadium begins at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13. On Oct. 23 and 24, the polling place will move to Reckling Park to accommodate the Owls' 2020 football season opener with Middle Tennessee. Voting booths will be located on the main concourse of Reckling Park only on those two days.
Polls open on Election Day at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
