The Rice swim team is back in action with dual meets against longtime state foes North Texas (2 pm Friday) and SMU (4 pm Saturday). In order to avoid any potential conflicts with local weather conditions this weekend, both meets are scheduled to be held at the brand new natatorium at Lamar High School (located 3325 Westheimer).

Rice head coach Seth Huston has liked what he has seen of the team's recent training. Now in his 19th season at the helm of the Owl program, Huston previews the meets in the above video. On Saturday the Owl seniors will be recognized during the meet for their contributions to the Rice swim program.

Please Note For The Meets This Weekend - Admission to each meet is $5. Since Lamar H.S. is in session on Friday (Jan. 10), all spectators will be required to park directly across the street at Bethany Christian Church and go through the main entrance of the new academic building off Eastside Street. School staff at the entrance can offer directions to the Natatorium.

Since school is not in session on Saturday (Jan. 11), parking is available in the garage south of the main campus entrance on Eastside Street.
