Eleven Owls Score Thursday At National Invitational
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Led by Ellery Parish's individual title in the 500-yard freestyle, the Rice swimmers holds first place over 41 other scoring teams after Thursday's first day of action at the 2019 CSCAA National Invitational.

Rice Head Coach Seth Huston : "Big day for the team," said coach Huston, now in his 17th year at the helm of the program. Every team member on the trip scored points for us today. Ellery swam her race, controlling it the whole time then destroyed the back half of finals. Lindsay Mathys was just huge in relays. Marta also made the podium with a third place finish in the 200 IM. I was really impressed with how we raced today, start to finish."
