Men's XC Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Award

NEW ORLEANS - The Rice men's cross country team was named an NCAA Division I All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced on Friday.
Qualifications for the honor include a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and the squad competing at the regional level of the NCAA Championship. The Owls concluded the 2017 season with a 3.35 GPA.
Overall, 423 teams brought home All-Academic honors with 228 women's programs and 195 men's programs.
