Rice Athletics Announces Partnership with Website Alive

June 30, 2015 HOUSTON, Texas - Rice Owls fans have an exciting new option to enhance their RiceOwls.com browsing experience thanks to a new partnership between the athletic department and Website Alive. The new feature allows fans to engage in an online chat with Rice Athletics team members in order to answer their questions.
The addition of the Website Alive feature is just the latest technology-enabled solution to be introduced in conjunction within the department's ongoing R Promise initiative, which aims to provide world-class customer service to fans.
"We are always looking for ways to improve the fan experience," said Tanner Gardner, the Owls Senior Assoc. AD / Chief Revenue Offer. "Our partnership with Website Alive helps us accomplish this goal and is just another step in our broader technology roadmap aimed towards improving in everything we do."
To access the new feature during normal business hours, fans simply click the "Chat" button on the web site and submit their question to a Rice representative, who will handle their request in real time.
