AUSTIN, Texas - A fourth place finish by Daisy Ding in the triple jump was the top finish amongst a handful of Owl competitors at Friday's Texas Relays. Ding, who was coming off being named the C-USA Female Athlete of the Week, recorded a jump of 12.60m (41-4.25) on her first attempt.
Junior Belle MacFarlane placed fifth in the high jump (B section) with a height of 1.71m while senior Marielle Brisbois tied for seventh in the B pole vault (4.00m).
The Owls will next compete in next week's Victor Lopez Classic.
