Ip Falls in Regional Semifinals

Katherine Ip dropped a 6-0; 6-4 decision to eventual champion Breaunna Addison of Texas to close out action for the Owls at the 2015 ITA/Texas Regional Championships at the Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station.
Ip advanced to the semis on the strength of three wins, the last of which downed SMU's Vaszilisza Bulgakova 6-4, 6-2. Bulgakova earlier had upset the tournament's top seed, Kelley D. Anderson of Baylor.
