Davidson Named To C-USA All-Academic Team

IRVING, Texas - Rice sophomore Adam Davidson was selected to the C-USA All-Academic Team, the league office announced on Friday.

The Woodlands, Texas native holds a 3.36 GPA as an undeclared engineering major. Davidson posted a career-best finish at the Rim Rock Farm Collegiate Classic (8K) to help lead the Owls to a team title. He would later place 11th at the C-USA Championships to earn second-team all-conference honors.

The men's honorary list was selected by the league's sports information directors. The all-academic team consists of six student-athletes that have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and are a key member on their team.

Davidson is competing this afternoon at the NCAA South Central Regional in Fayetteville, Ark.
