Rice beat Cincinnati and Wichita State in a tough Pre-Nationals Meet. Gabe Cuadra led the Owls with a time of 24:34.4.
The Owls finished in 35th place, finishing ahead of Cincinnati and Wichita State, among others. Cuadra led the Owls with a 109th place finish, and was followed by John Cavallo who ran a 24:51.3. Travis Roberts and James Llamas completed the course in 25:12.4 and 25:13.3, respectively.
Meron Fessahaie ran a 25:36.5 and was followed by Tony Urbanelli and Matt Carey, who ran a 26:16.0 and 26:35.9, respectively.
