Eugene, Ore. - Rice University middle distance runner Kylie Cullinan placed 11th in the 1500m final at the USA Junior Track & Field Championships held at Oregon's famed Hayward Field. Cullinan, who recently completed her freshman season at Rice, posted a time of 4:35.68. Florida's Cory McGee posted a winning time of 4:21.91.

Cullinan, from Spring, Texas, and Klein Collins H.S., qualified by posting a career-best time of 4:34.95 in placing eighth in heat two of the 1500m. That is an improvement of 23 seconds from her top time as a high schooler.
