Former Football Captain Named to Rice Board of Trustees

T. Jay Collins, who earned All SWC honors as a defensive end at Rice in 1967 and then rose through the ranks to become President and CEO of Oceaneering International Inc., is the newest member of the Rice University Board of Trustees.

Oceaneering International CEO Collins joins Rice University board

Collins was named captain of the Owls in his senior season and went on to winthe Bob Quin Award as Rice's Outstanding Senior Student Athlete in 1968.
