Adam Peakes, an Academic All-America selection during his career at Rice, and senior forward Suleiman Braimoh will be guests at this week's Ben Braun Radio Show. The program will be broadcast live tonight on ESPN 97.5 from the Edloe Street Café in West University. The show tips off at 7 p.m.
The Edloe Street Café is located at 6119 Edloe Street in the heart of West U.
Peakes finished his career with 1,240 points which ranks 16th on the Rice all-time list. Peakes is the only Rice player to score 1,000 points and be ranked among the Top 10 in program history in rebounds (694), assists (353) and steals (144).
Peakes was a two-time Academic All-America selection. He received an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship following his career at Rice.
Braimoh has played in 115 career games, scoring 502 points. He also has 358 rebounds. The senior has had a knack of grabbing offensive boards. More than half of his rebounds (181) have come on the offensive glass.
Each week on his show, Braun and host David Saltzman recap the Owls' previous games and preview what's ahead.
Rice is back in action Saturday, playing on the road at UAB. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast by ESPN 97.5 as well as televised by CSS via Comcast Cable throughout the South.
