Rice Men's Cross Country Competes at Cowboy Jamboree

The Rice men's cross country team competes this Saturday, September 25 at the prestigious Cowboy Jamboree, hosted by Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla.. This event is considered the oldest cross country race in America, dating back to 1937. The Owls are currently ranked ninth in the latest South Central Region poll.
The university men's 8k race starts at 9:45 a.m. (Central).
Owl head coach Jon Warren will lead the following contingent to Stillwater, Okla.: Sammy Abuhamra, John Cavallo, Gabe Cuadra, Wyatt Doop, Anthony Lauriello, James Llamas, Travis Roberts, Michael Trejo, Anthony Urbanelli, and Alex Weinheimer.
Rice's next race is at the HBU Invitational on Oct. 8.
