Bancorp South Intercollegiate Final Results

MADISON, Miss. - After back-to-back 70s on Monday, Rice senior golfer Christopher Brown shot a 76 on Tuesday to finish at even par and tie for 10th at the Bancorp South Intercollegiate hosted by Ole Miss at Reunion Golf and Country Club.

The Owls carded a third-round, 293 team score to finish with an 879 for the tournament and finish 10th.

North Florida shot a 278 on Tuesday to finish with an 846 and post a one-stroke win over second-place Florida which carded a 286 team score for the final round.

Florida's Tyson Alexander shot a 70 on Tuesday and finished with an 11-under par 205 to win individual medalist honors by one stroke over teammate Tim McKenney who opened the tournament with a 63 Monday morning.

Rice is back in action next week, playing in its third tournament in as many weeks as the Owls travel to the Jim West Invitational being played at Victoria Coiuntry Club.
