The Rice men's tennis team's season-ending match at SMU has been cancelled because of rain in the Dallas area and will not be rescheduled.
The 38th ranked Owls (11-10) will return home from Dallas on Sunday night to begin final preparations as hosts of the Conference USA Men's Tennis Championship at Jake Hess Tennis Stadium from April 22-25.
Final pairings for opening round matches for the conference championship will be released on Monday by the conference office.
