Trejo Named C-USA Runner of the Week

Junior Michael Trejo has been named by Conference USA as its Male Cross Country Athlete of the Week. The Dallas native clocked Rice's top time of 15.13 at the 5K HBU/Puma Invitational in Houston. Trejo finished fourth overall in leading the Owls to the invitational title as five runners finished with a Top 10 time.

The Rice men's cross country is now preparing for the C-USA Championship, Nov. 1 at Tulsa, Okla.
