2008 Victor Lopez Bayou Classic Begins Friday

HOUSTON - The 2008 Victor Lopez Bayou Classic runs this weekend at the Rice Track Stadium. Friday's running events begin at 2:30 pm with the high school boys 4x100-meter relay.
Competitors from 75 area universities and high schools will be on hand as the outdoor season continues. Additionally, a number of former Rice standouts will be joining the field including, 2004 NCAA decathlon champion Ryan Harlan and 2007 long jump all-America Funmi Jimoh.
Complete results will be available at www.riceowls.com at the conclusion of each days competition.
