
Owls Fifth at NCAA South Central Regional

Waco, Texas - The Rice Owls men's cross country team placed fifth at the 2008 NCAA South Central Regional held at Baylor's Cottonwood Creek Golf Course. The Owls totaled 164 points and were led by Aaron Robson's 14th place. Robson completed the completed the 10,000-meter course with a time of 31:18.5.
Texas A&M won the team title with 39 points, while Arkansas was second with 44 points. The Aggies' Shadrack Songok, a senior, won the individual title with a time of 29:52.1.
