
Rice Owls Compete at NCAA South Central Region

Rice University men's cross country team competes this Saturday at the NCAA South Central Regional held in Waco, Texas. Baylor University hosts the competition at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course. The women's 6,000m race starts at 10 a.m., while the men's 10,000m race begins at 10:45 a.m.
The Owls are currently ranked eighth in the South Central Region. Competing on Saturday for head coach Jon Warren are Brett Olson, Aaron Robson, Simon Bucknell, Justin Maxwell, Brad Morris, Scott Zivick, and Michael Trejo.
Last year, Rice placed eighth at the same course as this year's event and was led by Aaron Robson's 24th place finish. Arkansas won the team title with 24 points.
