
Lam C-USA Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Rice University volleyball player Tracy Lam (San Francicso, Calif.) has been named as Conference USA's Co-Defenisve Player of the Week. Also named was Memphis' Christine Bach.
Lam last week produced a C-USA weekly-best 57 digs over 12 games and three matches.She averaged 4.75 digs per set while leading the Owls with six service aces. Lam recorded a pair of 18-dig performances against Houston (W, 3-1) and Tulane (L, 3-2) as well as 21 digs in a three-set victory over UTEP.
The Owls are currently in third place in C-USA with an 8-3 record and 17-5 overall. They play this weekend at fourth place Tulsa (20-6, 7-4) on Friday (7 p.m.) and at SMU (12-13, 4-7) on Sunday (1 p.m.).
