For the second consecutive year, CSTV will televise the Bayou Bucket battle between Rice and Houston, one of two Owls' road games that are part of the network's 15-game package that was announced today.
This year's Bayou Bucket will kick off at 2:30 (central) at UH's Robertson Stadium on October 13. Two weeks later, the Owls will be back on the road and back on CSTV when they make their first-ever trip to Marshall to meet the Thundering Herd on October 27 for a 3:30 (central) kickoff.
Three of the Owls four conference road games will be televised. Rice will open the 2007 conference schedule with a Wednesday night road tilt at Southern Miss on October 3 which will be broadcast by ESPN.
Rice will open its 2007 football schedule on September 1 against Nicholls State. Game times for each of the Owls' six home contests will be released soon.
CSTV, the expert in college sports, is available in more than 20 million homes via cable and satellite. CSTV is available via satellite on DirecTV's Total Choice Plus package channel 610 and Dish Network's America's Top 120 package channel 152.
