Owls and Seminoles set for 2:30 on ESPNU

The Rice Owls' road contest with Florida State on September 23 has been added to ESPNU's schedule of college football games and will be telecast nationally at 2:30 (central).

With the addition of the Florida State telecast, the Owls are now set to appear on television a minimum of six times in 2006.

They opened the season with appearances on CSTV (Houston) and FSN Prime Ticket (UCLA), and will face Texas on ESPN 2 this Saturday. They are slated to wrap up five straight weeks of televised action when they travel to Army on September 30 to appear on one of ESPN's channels and are also slated to appear on CSTV when they return to Rice Stadium on October 11 to host UAB.
