Krystal Robinson closed out her Rice track and field career Saturday at the AT&T USA Outdoor Championships at IUPUI, placing 12th in the discus. Robinson, who won bronze at the NCAA championships in Sacramento two weeks ago, had a best of 51.17 meters/167-10. Nike's Aretha Thurmond won the event at 62.50/205-1.

In the long jump, Funmi Jimoh was also 12th, spanning 6.24/20-5.75 on her third attempt of the prelims. Jimoh redshirted the outdoor season and will be a senior in 2007.
