Marissa Daniels anchored the Rice women's distance medley relay to a fourth-place finish Saturday on the final day of the 79th Texas Relays. Daniels ran the 1600-meter leg, and teamed up with Lennie Waite (1200), Megan Sandler (800) and Chandra Ewing (400).
Sophomore pole vaulter Rachel Greff cleared 3.80 meters/12-5.5 to place 11th.
The Owls return to action next weekend at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif.
