Rice returns home after a two-game road swing to host Sam Houston State Monday at 7 pm in women's basketball action at Autry Court. Both teams are 3-2 going into Monday's game, with the Owls coming off an 81-67 loss Saturday at TCU.
Lauren Neaves leads Rice in scoring and rebounding, and was the team's points leader with 17 at TCU. Maudess Fulton scored a season-high 16 in Fort Worth.
Sam Houston State is led by Erica Parker's 11.6 points a game, and Whitney Smith tops the squad in rebounding with 7.2 a game.
The Owls host 12th-ranked Texas A&M Friday at 7 pm.
