Hot Dogs & Hoops Set for Friday

Rice will close out the women's basketball preseason Friday as the Owls host the Houston Jaguars in an exhibition game at 6 pm at Autry Court. The game will be followed by a men's exhibition contest between Rice and St. Edward's.
Fans are invited to an evening of James Coney Island hot dogs and hoops as both teams get ready for a run at the Conference USA championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament.
The Owls are coming off a narrow 79-73 loss to Everyones Internet last Saturday and will use this final exhibition game as a tune-up for the season opener at Mississippi on Nov. 18.
