2/8/2001 12:00:00 AM | Women's Soccer
The Owls recruited nationwide in their search for their first ever women's soccer team, and will debut their new team when they kick off the 2001 season at home against Army on Aug. 31.
"This is an exciting day for Rice," Huston said. "We are making history here with the first ever women's soccer signing class. I am extremely pleased with the group of girls we have. They are great soccer players, and outstanding students."
