Career: A lanky forward that can rebound, defend, and block shots... A walk-on who formerly competed for Rice[apos]s track and field team.
2003-04: Played in three contests for a total of 10 minutes... Grabbed two rebounds with a block in victory over Southern Methodist... Also had a block shot in wins over Dallas and San Jose State.
High School: A 2002 graduate of St. Andrew[apos]s Episcopal High School in Ridgeland, Miss... Was a two-year starter and three-year letterwinner for the Saints... Named MVP in 2002 after averaging 18 ppg and four rpg... Also ran track and was named team MVP and 'Best in Track' for 2002... Was the 2A state runner up in 2002... Earned the team[apos]s most improved award as a sophomore... Team won district title in 2002.
