- Rice's first All American receiver since Buddy Dial in 1958, and first overall since OG Charles Torello in 1997

- Named one of the three finalists for the 13th Biletnikoff Award
- Established an NCAA record by catching a TD pass in his 13th straight game this season in the New Orleans Bowl, breaking the mark set by Randy Moss in 1997 and tied by Larry Fitzgerald in 2003.
- Has caught a touchdown pass in 15 consecutive games, the second longest overall streak in NCAA history...has at least two catches in each of his 24 career games.
- Caught 21 TD passes in 2006 to set both Rice and Conference USA season records.
- His 26 career scores in 24 career games have set the Owls career record.
- Has also set a school records with 91 catches and 1,247 receiving yards.
- Rice was 7-2 over the last nine games of 2006 and Dillard had 64 catches for 897 yards and 17 touchdowns.
- Caught three TDs in a game four times this season (Army, UAB, Tulsa and SMU).
- Caught six passes for 145 yards and three TDs to lead Rice to a bowl-clinching victory over SMU....caught the game winner with just 4:05 left in the game.
- Caught five passes for 73 yards and a score vs. East Carolina....caught a 40-yarder on fourth and 10 to keep the Owls winning drive alive, then caught a an 11-yarder to set up the game-winning field goal.
- Caught eight passes for 137 yards and three scores as the Owls beat defending C-USA champ Tulsa in double overtime....caught the game winner, a 25-yarder from Chase Clement....Has now ended two games with TD catches. Also had scores of 65 (longest of his career) and 11 yards (first score of overtime).
- Dillard's numbers in 2006 came against a schedule that has featured Houston, UCLA, Texas, Florida State in the first four games....the games vs. UCLA, Texas and Florida State were played without Chase Clement, the Owls starting quarterback.
- Playing in a run-oriented attack his freshman season in 2005, Dillard still caught at least two passes in every game, finishing with 35 receptions and earning C-USA All- Freshman team honors.
