2012-2013: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Rice University Honor Athlete; Sensational finish to the season included 72 points at the C-USA Championships, the second-highest on the team to help the Owls win the second league title in the program[apos]s history... Won the C-USA silver medal in a 1-2 Rice finish in the 200-IM with a time of 2:00.86, the third-fastest mark in school history... Placed third in the league[apos]s 100-backstroke after a season-best 55.24 in the morning prelims... Finished seventh in the C-USA[apos]s 200-backstroke after a season-best 1:59.92 in the prelims... Versatile relay contributor who helped establish three new school records, including the C-USA winning 200-medley (1:40.52)... Lead leg of the 400-medley that set a new school record (3:41.86) and finished second in the conference... Anchor leg of the record-setting 800-free relay 7:11.57 that finished second in conference... Notched career-best marks in both the 50-free (24.19) and 100-free (52.42) at the Incarnate Word Invitational in San Antonio.
2011- 2012: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Rice University Honor Athlete; Big sophomore season featured breaking her own Rice record in the 100-backstroke (55.05) and swimming the lead leg of the school record-setting 200-medley relay that finished second in the C-USA championships with a time of 1:41.31... Broke her 100-backstroke record in the morning prelims before finishing fifth in the finals... Placed fifth in the C-USA[apos]s 200-backstroke after a 1:59.43 in the prelims that was three one-hundredths of a second from breaking the school record... Finished fourth in the conference in the 200-individual medley with a time of 2:01.84, the fourth-fastest mark at Rice... Also swam backstroke on the 400-medley relay which registered the second-fastest time in school history (3:43.11) on the way to a second place C-USA finish... Scored a total of 60 points at the C-USA championships, the fourth-highest total on the squad... Tallied the fastest 100-backstroke by any Owl at the Rice Competition Pool with a 57.86 against nationally-ranked SMU... Didn[apos]t swim a lot of 100-freestyle during the course of the regular season, but stepped-up at the Texas Grand Prix to post a LCM-converted 52.44 that was the Owls[apos] sixth-fastest time of the year... Swam a season-best 24.74 leadoff split in the 50-freestyle at the Incarnate Word Invitational in San Antonio.
2010-2011: Shared Rice[apos]s Rookie of the Year award (with Quincy Christian) as the program[apos]s top freshman; Conference USA Commissioner[apos]s Academic Honor Roll; Set the Rice record in the 100-yard backstroke (55.07) by swimming the lead leg of the 400-medley relay at the C-USA Championships... The record-setting start help spark the second-fastest 400-medley relay in school history... Finished third in the C-USA[apos]s 100-backstroke with a time of 55.35 (which also would have broke the previous school record had she not already set it the day before)... Scored 59 points at the conference meet, the fourth-highest individual total on the team... Reached the championship finals of the 200-backstroke after a 2:00.87 in the morning prelims, the fifth-fastest time in school history and best-ever by a Rice freshman... Placed sixth overall in the C-USA[apos]s 200-backstroke... Posted the Owls[apos] third-best mark of the year in the 100-breaststroke (1:05.60), and finished 12th in the conference meet... Swam the lead leg of the third-fastest 200-medley relay in school history at the conference meet... As the lead swimmer on the 200-medley relay at the C-USA Championships, she was the first Owl to compete in the meet[apos]s first event on the way to the 2011 conference title... Tallied a solid 52.64 in the 100-freestyle on a relay split at the Phill Hansel Invitational in the fall... Owns Rice[apos]s best time at home in the Aquatics Center in the 100-backstroke (57.34)... Member of the 200-medley relay team that set the Aquatics Center facility record against North Texas.

A 2010 graduate of Kingwood High School just north of Houston... Four-year varsity swimmer with a host of individual finishes in the championship finals of the state meet... A 14-time All-America selection, All-State honoree and Academic All-America selection... Named the Mustangs[apos] MVP, Hardest Worker, team captain and Rookie of the Year during her career... Coached by Russell Duin... Graduated 15th in a class of 628 (the top three percent)... Member of the National Honor Society... Spanish National Honor Society... National Charity League.
