
Rice Athletics to host flood relief drive July 10-11

Drop off center in front of Patterson Center
Houston- Rice Athletics will host a donation drive Thursday and Friday to assist with the ongoing recovery efforts in Central Texas in the aftermath of the flash flooding that struck the area over the Fourth of July weekend.
Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day at the circular drive located in front of the Brian Patterson Sports Performance Center.
Owls' coaches, staff, and student-athletes will be collecting items in the following categories, and financial contributions can also be made via QR code:
All donated items and financial contributions will benefit the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, Salvation Army Kerrville, Red Cross, World Central Kitchen, Texas Search and Rescue (TEXSAR) and Austin Pets Alive!

- Non-perishable food (canned and dry goods)
- Hygiene items (Soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products)
- Cleaning supplies (Bleach, disinfectant, sponges, gloves)
- Baby items (diapers, baby wipes, formula)
- Pet supplies (Food, carriers, leashes, bedding).
