Daniel Zou Named AAC Golfer of the Week

HOUSTON — After earning a top 10 finish at the prestigious Cabo Collegiate, freshman golfer Daniel Zou was named the American Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday afternoon.
Zou had one of the best finishes, finishing in 10th-place at -2. After opening the tournament with a 74, he came back with a one-under 70. He closed the tournament with the best round of the day, firing a 67, his second-best round of the year.
In a tournament that had nine individuals in the Scoreboard Top 50, Zou finished 7-2, including defeating the No. 1 and 3 ranked players in the country.
