Swim and Dive Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

LEWISBURG, Penn. - Rice swimming and diving was named a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Monday afternoon.
Rice earned the honor with a team GPA of 3.85, which was just shy of tying Missouri's 3.86, the highest among women's teams in Division I this semester.
Rice led the AAC by a wide margin, with the next-closest teams being Florida International and North Texas, both posting 3.68 this semester in their classrooms.
To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifying them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings. The selections consisted of 781 teams from 459 institutions for the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2024 semester. These teams, comprising 19,209 student-athletes, were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.
