Lettenberger Named to US Para Swimming Team for Paris

Paralympics Tokyo 2020 Silver Medalist
Houston--Former Rice swimmer Ahalya Lettenberger is one of 21 women and 12 men who will represent Team USA at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, which begins on August 28.
Lettenberger qualified in the 400-meter freestyle S7 and the 100-meter breaststroke SB6 this past weekend at the U.S. Paralympic Team Trials at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This will be Lettenberger's second Paralympic Games as she captured the silver medal in the 200 IM S7 and finished fourth in the 400 freestyle S7 at the Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020.
She also has represented the USA at each of the last three World Para Swimming Championships, winning silver medals in the 400 freestyle S7 in 2019 & 2023 and adding a bronze in the event in 2022.
