Swimming's Hayon Sets New Career-Best Finish at NCAA Championships

In Brief: Junior Arielle Hayon recorded her highest-ever finish at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships on Friday at the Jack Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Georgia.
The Details: The lone Owl competing on Friday, Hayon recorded her highest-ever finish at the NCAA Championships, placing 34th in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.06. Hayon's previous best finish of her career at the NCAA Championships was a 36th-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly in 2022.
Up Next: Competition at the NCAA Championships concludes on Saturday with both Hayon and sophomore Ella Dyson finishing out their stays in Georgia. Hayon will take part in the 200-yard butterfly while Dyson will compete in the 1,650-yard freestyle. Trials begin at 9 a.m. (CT), with finals set for 5 p.m. (CT).
