HOUSTON, TX – The SOAR Office at Rice University is proud to announce Beyond the Hedges 2025, an annual, premier, career preparation event designed to help student-athletes develop the skills they need to succeed both on and off the field, will be held on Thursday, January 30th, 2025, at Rice University's Cohen House starting at 7 PM.
This exciting event provides Rice student-athletes with a unique opportunity to enhance their job interview skills and build professional connections in a hands-on, dynamic environment. Participants will engage in a "speed interview" session followed by an open networking event, allowing them to connect with employers, alumni, and Houston community partners.
Beyond the Hedges 2025 is more than just a networking event—it's a platform for student-athletes to explore career paths, refine their professional skills, and expand their networks in a supportive and engaging setting. This event is an excellent opportunity for employers and organizations to meet and recruit some of the most driven and talented students who are ready to excel in their careers.
