Knoxville, Tennessee: Four-time conference champion and school record holder Arielle Hayon will open her second year of competing at the NCAA Women's Swimming Championship on Friday morning when she takes to the pool in the preliminaries of the 100 butterfly.
Competition begins at 9 a.m. (central) at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Hayon is seeded 30th in the 100 fly based on her AAC-winning time of 52.01. Last year, she was seeded 20th in her NCAA debut and finished 36th in 52.57.
Hayon will be back in action on Saturday morning in the preliminaries of the 200 butterfly. Hayon is seeded 40th in the event and will be looking to improve on her 44th-place finish from last season.
