Registration Underway for “Night of Flight – Ascending into the American”

Registration is currently underway for Rice Athletics' third annual "Night of Flight – Ascending into the American", with the goal of raising $100,000 to support Rice student-athletes in the historic move to the American Athletic Conference.

After being held virtually in its first two years, this year's celebration of Rice's move to the AAC will be held in person in the R-Room at Rice Stadium on Thursday, April 27. An online auction will go live prior to the event and there will be a live auction the night of the event featuring several additional items.

A special VIP package includes an exclusive pre-dinner cocktail reception from 6-7 p.m. All attendees will enjoy dinner from Gatlin's BBQ, a program featuring several Owls coaches from 7-8:30 p.m., and after-dinner entertainment by Howl2Go Dueling Pianos.

Registration for the online silent auction is free. Bidding will open on April 10 and close on the night of the event at 8:30 PM CT.

VIP tables (8 people) are $4,000 and tables of eight for the dinner are $1,600.
