Swimming Repeats as CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

Close out regular season tomorrow in Austin
Richmond, Va. – The Rice swim team was named by The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team for the Fall of 2022.
The CSCAA, the national coaches association for college programs, recognizes exemplary performance in the classroom with its Team Scholar All-America Awards for both the Fall and Spring semesters. The organization honored 803 women's and men's teams from all divisions of college swimming for maintaining a composite grade-point average of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) for all athletes on the roster during the 2022 Fall semester. In all, 19,426 student-athletes shared in their respective team's recognition.
The American Athletic Conference was one of 16 conferences with 100% of its competing teams earning Scholar All-American honors.
The Owls will be in action on Saturday when they travel to Austin, to compete in The Sterkel Classic and then set their sights on The American Athletic Conference Swimming Championship, which gets underway on February 15.
