Volleyball's Emilia Weske Named to AAC Honor Roll

HOUSTON, Texas — Graduate senior right side hitter Emilia Weske was named to the AAC Honor Roll on Monday. It is Weske's fifth time this season being named to the honor roll.
Weske recorded a pair of double-doubles and led the team in kills last week as the Owls earned a split at home against Wichita State. Weske averaged 4.56 kills per set across the two matches, totaling 41 kills on a .284 hitting percentage. Across 116 total attempts, Weske recorded only eight attacking errors. The product of Potsdam, Germany, also added 22 digs, three blocks and two service aces. Weske was also a perfect 1.000 on 13 receiving attempts.
Rice (18-10, 12-6 AAC) heads to Tampa, Florida, to conclude the regular season at South Florida (18-11, 12-6 AAC) on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 11:30 a.m. (CT). The match will be broadcast on ESPN+.
