Raghav Chugh to Participate in the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship

HOUSTON — Rice junior golfer Raghav Chugh will participate in the 2023 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, Oct. 26-29, at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia.
The tournament will be 72-holes, stroke play with a cut for the leading 60 players plus ties after 36 holes. The winner gets an invitation to compete in the 2024 Masters, as well as exemptions into the 152nd Open Championship and the 129th Amateur Championship. The runner-up receives an exemption into The Open Qualifying Series with the opportunity to earn a place in The 152nd Open Championship.
Chugh will tee off from the first hole at 12:52 p.m. The first two rounds will be broadcasted by ESPN from 12-3 a.m. Live scoring can also be found here.
Through three tournaments, Chugh holds a 73.56 stroke average. His best finish came at the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational, where he tied for 11th-place.
