Golf Concludes Play at C-USA Championship

Texarkana, Ark. — The Rice golf team finished play at the Conference USA Championship.
The Owls carded a final round 307 to finish 22-over par in 10th-place.
Freshman Raghav Chugh and senior Harrison Hineline both posted a 77. Chugh tied for 26th-place at four-over par to lead the Owls for the eighth straight tournament and Hineline finished seven-over par in a tie for 39th-place.
Junior Thomas Bockholt III and senior Jack Diamond tied for 42nd-place eight-over par. Bockholt had Rice's best round of the day, closing with a 74 while Diamond finished with a 79. Senior Jake Benson carded an 81 finish 10-over par in a 49th-place tie.
Middle Tennessee's Michael Barnard took home individual champion honors at six-under par, one stroke in front of Florida Atlantic's Max Sturdza.
