Rice Athletics Announces Second Year of EmpowHer Owls

HOUSTON - Rice Athletics is excited to launch the second year of our women's sports initiative, EmpowHer Owls. EmpowHer Owls is a department-wide initiative to celebrate the success of women's athletics at Rice University and raise philanthropic support for the next generation of women leaders.
From now until the end of June 30, 2022, we have a goal of raising $500,000 towards Rice Women's Athletics to celebrate Women's History Month and the 50th anniversary of Title IX. We would like to invite you to make a gift and follow us on the EmpowHer Owls website and Rice social media accounts to hear the stories and shared experiences of some of our past female student-athletes that have paved the way for future generations at Rice.
Gifts through the EmpowHer Owls initiative provides Rice female student-athletes with the vital resources needed to achieve academic and athletic excellence, while receiving an enriching student-athlete experience through experiential learning opportunities.
